It’s a new website, but the gurus over there know what they’re doing, and they’re pretty good at what they do. I know this might sound like a spam post, but I’m just trying to spread the word. I’ll start doing some more real blog posting later. I just have to get through a really hectic week first…

 

EDGE Retreat

So yeah as you may know my youth group went on a retreat this past weekend. We started by watching this video:

Basically we covered the Bible and how to navigate it and what it teaches us. The food at the camp where we stayed was amazing! On Saturday afternoon we spent about two hours outside. The first hour was spent rock climbing, but of course there was a swarm of wasps waiting at the top. There was also a zipline you could go down if you got to the top.  Then for the second hour we split in to three groups: Archery, Nature House, and Low Ropes Course. I did Low Ropes. It actually had nothing to do with ropes. It was just a bunch of activities that were supposed to get us to work together as a team. The busride home was the best, though. We listened to Carlos’s hilarious ring tone like a billion times, then when he fell asleep with his mouth open, we stuck Bugles chips and Oreos and the bag the chips came in in his mouth. The expression on his face everytime he woke up was priceless. Then we went to a special Mass, where they played the retreat song at the end.

LOL such an interesting question… I ask myself the same question all the time. Only replacing … with other stuff. Here are some of the more common or most interesting ones (leave a comment if u have one =D):
